I hope
everyone in the USA
had a happy independence day.
The final portion of chapter 232 was published last week, the first in the mini-series of William Shanks' week of rustication. It continues next month, and the next installment takes place on a Saturday. So it's Games, with a cross-country run. He's kidnapped en route by the Amazonians, but ends up in Stern Hall. There, his gonads are given a good going over in Professor Wodin Thring's patent Knackering Machine. Needless to say, matters don't improve much as the day progresses.
Please do make the most of these chapters, as there's little left of the Summer Term, when the story shifts from St Sticks to several other places.
For the past 5 years, I've been trying to think of a good collective nickname for the Connor twins of The Six Lezzies (both a bit butch). Nothing seemed to work well. Their own names of Alexandra and Rubina were fine, ending up as Lexicon and Rubicon. Finally an inspiration arrived, and taken together they are now The Con Artists. Their forté is drawing damsels in difficulties, and they have several such on the walls above their beds. Quite an amount of back-working will now be needed to all the previous chapters where they appear.
